For the diagnosis of sialic acid storage disorders (Salla disease and ISSD) and as an aid to the diagnosis of sialidosis and galactosialidosis
Specimen requirement
5 mL fresh random urine collected in a plain universal container with no preservative

Contact the Enzyme Laboratory prior to shipping. Freeze sample and send frozen by special post. Do NOT allow sample to thaw. To reach lab as soon as possible
