Clinical indications
For monitoring the effectiveness of a low galactose diet. Measurement may also aid the diagnosis of galactosaemia as red cell galactose-1-phosphate will be grossly elevated if patient is not on a galactose-free diet

2 mL lithium heparin whole blood
