Research across the Psychological Services department

There are currently a number of research studies across the Psychological Services department at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Research forms an important part of our work to make sure that we understand what life is like for our patients and their families.

The research we carry out is often to check that the work we do is helpful, and to look into other ways that we may be able to support you. This may mean we ask you to fill in some questionnaires to help us understand and develop new ways of working.

Our research often links with other projects in other parts of the hospital, like understanding more about how a medical condition or treatment affects children and families.
