Getting referred to the Psychological Services department
This page contains helpful information on how to be referred to Great Ormond Street Hospital's (GOSH) Psychological Services Department.
We work with all the medical and surgical teams across the hospital.
You can ask a doctor, nurse or any other health professional involved in your care at Great Ormond Street Hospital to contact us on your behalf. You are also welcome to contact us directly on 0207 405 9200 extension 5166 if you think we could be helpful to you.
In some situations, it could be arranged for you to receive help and support nearer to your home and we may discuss making a referral to a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) locally.
‘The Garden of Wellbeing’ mural featured in the animation above is also situated on glass panels next to the pharmacy on the ground floor of the hospital. The animation retains the shape of the original mural but adds some gentle movement and sound.
The mural was commissioned by GOSH Arts from artist Malcolm Willett whose other work can be found on his website.
