Services provided by the Occupational Therapy department
The Occupational Therapy team offers a tertiary level service at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Occupational therapy is available in a number of clinical areas to both inpatients and outpatients. The occupational therapists liaise with community therapy teams to address patients' ongoing needs and to ensure continued care.
The Occupational Therapy team provide clinical services in the following areas:
- Bone Marrow Transplant
- Haematology, Oncology, Immunology and Infectious Diseases
- International and Private Patients
- Neurodisability
- Neurology and Neurosurgery
- Orthopaedic and spinal surgery
- Cardiorespiratory
- Pan Hospital Wheelchair Service
- Plastic Surgery and Dermatology
- Rheumatology
