General enquiries for the Urology team at Great Ormond Street Hospital.We know that there are occasions when you want to ring us to ask us a question and understand that it can be difficult to know who best to call. We have put together the following list to help you to direct your questions to the right member of the Urology team.
For all members of the team below, please call main hospital number on 020 7405 9200 and enter the extension number below when prompted.
If your child is acutely unwell, please seek medical attention from your family doctor (GP) or local Accident and Emergency (A&E) department. They will contact us for further information if needed.
Pre-operative Assessment team – ext 0629
Call the Pre-operative Assessment team if your child is being admitted and you have questions about the operation or procedure planned. This is the nursing team that assesses patients for specialist Urology procedures with an anaesthetic.
Clinical Nurse Specialists for Bladder Exstrophy or General Urology Care –ext 5917 or 5916
Call the Clinical Nurse Specialists if you have any questions about procedures such as Mitrofanoff catheterisation or clean intermittent catheterisation. This includes questions about the operation, care afterwards and equipment.
Urodynamics Unit Coordinator – Appointments/General Enquiries – ext. 8884
Call the Urodynamics Unit Coordinator with any questions related to appointments with the Urodynamics Unit.
Admissions Coordinator – Ext: 7986 Chloe Masilungan
Call the Admissions Coordinator if you have questions about the practical issues around an admission, such as to change the surgery date, transport, accommodation or interpreters. They can re-send admission letters and information if you have not received it. They cannot answer clinical queries about your child’s health or their planned operation or procedure.
