How to get referred to the Neuroimmunology Centre
The Neuroimmunology centre provides a specialist (tertiary) service for the diagnosis and treatment of children 0-16 years of age with a suspected or diagnosed immune-mediated neurological condition.
Your child must already be under the care of a paediatric an or other paediatric specialist. Your child's hospital or community paediatrician should make the referral and we are unable to accept referrals from GPs.
It is also important that all your child's completed investigations with the results are included in the referral so that we have all the information necessary.
For health professionals who would like to make a referral either for an inpatient admission, urgent neurology advice or an outpatient appointment please access the neurology information for health professionals on GOSH website.
