Contact the Neuroimmunology Centre
You may have questions regarding your child's condition or following an outpatient appointment and there may be different members of the team you contact depending on your query.
If you have any questions regarding the arrangements for a clinic appointment, the date of a clinic or a clinic letter then please contact Dr Hemingway or Dr Hacohen’'s PA on 020 7405 9200 ext 0511. She should be able to assist with non-urgent, non-clinical queries.
Clinical nurse specialist team
The clinical nurse specialist team is able to offer support and information to families. As clinical experts they can answer questions about your child's condition and work closely with your child's consultant and local services. They are able to monitor and adjust your child's treatment. If you have any concerns regarding your child or need to discuss symptoms of a possible relapse of your child's condition then please contact your child's clinical nurse specialist on 020 7405 9200 ext 0460.
The clinical nurse specialist team is NOT a 24 hour/7 day a week emergency service and therefore if you need urgent and immediate advice regarding your child then you would need to take your child straight to your local hospital where they can be assessed. At GOSH we do not have an A&E department and therefore do not have the facilities to urgently review patients, and this is why it is essential that your child is linked in with local paediatric services.
