Clinical outcomes
Goal based outcomes (GBOs) are a way to evaluate progress towards achieving goals in clinical work with children and young people, and their families and carers. They compare how far a young person or their parents/carers feel they have moved towards reaching up to three goals they set at the start of assessment and treatment, compared to where they are by end of treatment using a scale from 0-10 (0= goal not met at all; 10 = goal reached). The data below represent the average change in rating goal achievement for children discharged from the FDT between April 2014 and September 2014.
Parental report of feeding outcomes
At the end of treatment, parents are asked to rate how they feel the situation regarding their child’s feeding/eating has changed in various aspects since coming to the FDT, in addition to feeling listened to and treated with respect. The data below represent the average change in different categories for parents of children discharged from the FDT between April 2014 and September 2014.
