Research and publications from the Interventional Radiology Service

Our service is very active in research and development. We regularly review our clinical practice in the form of audit and prospective research studies, to evaluate our current practice and develop new services.

We work with other departments within Great Ormond Street Hospital and in other centers nationally and internationally to develop best practice in this new and exciting field. We publish our work regularly in the peer-reviewed literature.

Our team regularly attend national and international research conferences and training courses to both update our practice and to share our experience in order to train others.

Our consultants are all members of national and international interventional radiology associations and contribute to those groups by regular attendance at meetings in the UK and abroad, submission of research papers to their meetings and/or journals and by giving invited lectures in our specialist fields.
