Services provided by the Cystic Fibrosis Unit
The Cystic Fibrosis Unit at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) offers physiotherapy, psychosocial and dietetic services for children and their families.
Physiotherapy services
The physiotherapy service assesses and treats children of all ages with cystic fibrosis and provides family support for carrying out physiotherapy.
Psychosocial services
The psychosocial service is available to all children with cystic fibrosis attending GOSH as outpatients or inpatients.
Dietetic services
The dietetic service provides advice on nutrition and enzymes, working with families from diagnosis through to transition.
Homecare service
For those who require additional support, we also provide a home visiting service giving individualised care by a CF specialist nurse and CF specialist physiotherapist.
