Cardiac Imaging research and publications
The Cardiac Imaging department is part of the Cardiorespiratory Unit, which conducts research into congenital and acquired heart disease as seen from the fetus to the aged.
Our research reflects our mission primarily to treat infants and children with cardiac disease. It is designed to cover all aspects of cardiac disease, expanding beyond the clinical manifestations to encompass the basic science underlying the various malformations, particularly the mechanisms of cardiac development.
The research also includes the long-term follow-up of the children as they grow into adolescents and adults.
