GOSH patients feature in Channel 4 documentary

Channel 4’s long-running documentary Born to be Different returns to our screens on Tuesday 1 and Tuesday 8 March, 9–10 pm.
This candid series filmed over nearly 16 years follows several children all born around the millennium, and chronicles the pressures and joys of family life for parents bringing up a child with complex medical needs. This series meets the children as they approach their 16th year, dealing with everyday teenage challenges as well as issues most of us will never face.

In the ninth series, we catch up with William who is a Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) patient. William has tuberous sclerosis, a neurological condition that has led to, amongst other things, complex epilepsy and autism.
