British Society for Gene and Cell Therapy and BRC Junior Faculty Early Career Development Day (ECDC)
22 Nov 2018 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health, 30 Guildford Street, London, WC1N 1EH
Date: Thursday 22nd November 2018
Time: 10.00-20.30
Location: Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health
This event and programme has been brought together by our ECDC subcommittee to help enhance career possibilities for ECRs and facilitate networking with a focus on establishing collaborative links to strengthen fellowship applications. Registration is now open for BSGCT's first Early Career Development and Collaboration Event and Evening Networking Reception, co-hosted by the NIHR GOSH BRC Junior Faculty, which is being held at the UCL GOS Institute of Child Health on Thursday 22nd November 2018.
The daytime event is for Early Career Researchers (PhD students, Postdocs and early career PIs), and features an exciting programme and diverse selection of speakers covering a wide range of areas; including career tracks, grant writing tips and tricks, publicising your findings, as well as protecting IP and commercialisation. View the full programme and further details HERE.
The day will be rounded off by a networking reception, and we invite any BSGCT members unable to join us in the daytime to come along for the evening.
Registration is free, but spaces for both the daytime and evening events are limited, so please register in advance* to secure a place. BSGCT members have priority and daytime registration will be open to members only before 17th September, when tickets will be made available to non-member ECRs as well.
