Signatories
Please note: NIHR ACAF and DCAF signatories have now changed. Academic and Clinical Heads of Department are now signatories.
Please see below for further information.
All research funding applications and related agreements require Institutional Authorisation by appropriate individuals/teams prior to their submission to the funder (head of department/ clinical division and relevant finance authority).
Finance authorisation needs to come from the organisation submitting the application. For up to date list of UCL authorisation, please refer to the UCL Research Services website.
- UCL GOS ICH: Jon Burt
- GOSH: Kevin Samuel
All applications with GOSH involvement (patients, facilities, staff) need to be authorised by the head of the clinical division (not the specialty lead). This will generally be the divisional director; however, they can be deputised by the general manager.
For GOSH led applications the PI will be responsible for obtaining required authorisations and contact details of all head of department approvals notifying R&D office.
For ICH led applications your application will be authorised through Worktribe. The process is outlined on UCL Research & Innovation Services webpage.
