Stephanie Robb

Dr Stephanie Robb is a Consultant Paediatric Neurologist in the Dubowitz Neuromuscular Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children.Stephanie moved to the Dubowitz Neuromuscular Centre in 2004, with specialisation in neuromuscular disorders, funded by the NCG Congenital Muscular Dystrophies and Myopathies service.

Additional specialist interest in paediatric myasthenia, with joint monthly clinics held with the Oxford NCG Myasthenia Service, alternating between the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford and GOSH.

Qualifications

  • Honorary Senior Lecturer, Institute of Child Health, UCL

  • Honorary Consultant Paediatric Neurologist, Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals

  • Medical degree and intercalated BMedSci at University of Newcastle upon Tyne, followed by training in general medicine at Newcastle University Hospitals.

  • Specialist training in Paediatrics at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge and the Hammersmith Hospital (with Professors Victor and Lily Dubowitz).

  • Training in Neurology at the National Hospital for Neurology and in Paediatric Neurology at Great Ormond Street Hospital. MD 1987 (Immunological aspects of Myasthenia, with Professor John Newsom Davis).

  • Consultant Paediatric Neurologist, Guy’s Hospital from 1990-2004, establishing a regional neuromuscular service for SE Thames and specialist services for paediatric myasthenia.
