Moira Cheung

Moira Cheung

MBBS MSc PhD MRCPCH

Moira is a consultant paediatric endocrinologist who trained at Imperial College School of Medicine (MBBS), and subsequently completed paediatric endocrinology training in London and a clinical fellowship in rare bone disease at Shriners Hospital, McGill University, Montreal, Canada.  

She completed her MRC basic science PhD in thyroid and bone disorders at Imperial College.

As a consultant and clinical lead in endocrinology, she set up the paediatric bone service at Guys and St Thomas’ NHS Trust and moved to Great Ormond Street Hospital in 2023. She is the GOSH Charity Clinical Impact Leader and Consultant in Paediatric Endocrinology - Specialist in Rare Bone Disorders.

She is on the committee of the Skeletal Dysplasia Group, ICCBH Bone School and the Skeletal Dysplasia Management Consortium. She is particularly passionate about holistic medical care for families with skeletal disorders and teaching.

Moira enjoys travelling, cooking and would love to pick up her paintbrush more.
