Fourth Annual NIHR GOSH BRC Image Competition - A Moment of Discovery
11 Nov 2024, 11 a.m.
Our Image Competition 2024 is now closed
The Research and Innovation Showcase: A Moment of Discovery is now closed for entries.
Hosted by the Research and Innovation Communications team at GOSH and the NIHR GOSH Biomedical Research team, this image competition is in it's fourth year.
Each year, we've asked:
- Do you use photography or draw illustrations to capture what discovery means to you at GOSH?
- Do you use microscopy that not only furthers your research but also produces beautiful and intriguing science images that you’d love to share?
- Does your research generate data, imagery, or short videos?
We look for impactful images, photos, GIFs, short videos or illustrations that highlight any aspect of the amazing research, innovation and discovery that happens across GOSH and our affiliated institutions.
Shortlisting process and winner selection
Following a shortlisting process individual winning entries will be selected by panel of stakeholders comprised of representatives from nursing, medics, allied healthcare, junior faculty, an EDI lead, a member of the BRC core team and communications.
Once shortlisted, three independent judging panels will pick three winners and these images will then go out on our social media channels where the overall winner will be chosen by our followers.
Where your entry could be featured
All shortlisted and winning entries will be featured on the GOSH website, our social media channels and other external content about the competition.
Shortlisted entries will also be featured in displays at GOSH as part of research and innovation celebration events.
