A Training Course focusing on difficult airway management on a Paediatric Intensive Care

Course Overview

The GOSH Paediatric Difficult Airway Course is aimed for senior paediatric intensive care medicine trainees, fellows and advanced clinical practitioners who are wishing to develop and improve their knowledge and skills in the management of children with difficult airways.

The day will focuses on hands-on skills workshop focus on equipment and techniques for difficult intubation in children including the use of video laryngoscopes, and intubating videoscopes. The skill workshops are supplemented by lectures on airway pathology in children. There will also be case based presentations for discussion amongst clinical experts and peers. The simulation scenarios will be tailored for learners to take part and experience in a safe environment
