This module aims to provide learners with an opportunity to develop their knowledge, skills and competence caring for children and young people in post-operative care in the recovery room.

Overview

The aim of the module is to build on the recovery practitioner’s knowledge and critical reasoning skills of the child and young person’s post-operative care. This will allow practitioners to enhance their practice, based on current evidence-based care.

By undertaking this module, practitioners will create a safer environment for children, young people and their families and have a positive impact on their recovery journey.
