Working together
Everyone has their own expertise and experiences, and the Transformation team uses these to make lasting, effective improvements to safety and quality at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).
Listening to the experts
Sharing knowledge across professional groups and specialties, and working closely with parent partners, are core components of what we do.
Through regular master classes, ideas forums and learning programmes, Transformation shares the latest improvement tools and ideas with those committed to making GOSH the best it can be.
Parent’s voice
Darren is a parent partner who has worked with us to improve cardiac services.
“It’s a way of saying thank you. The simple fact is the parent wants to help.
“If we can make that whole process a lot easier for any other parent that comes through those doors, that’s great, it’ll be a lovely achievement. Nobody other than a parent knows what’s it’s like to come through those doors.
“Transformation has given me a sort of vocation, I like the environment. I enjoy getting involved and want to see things happen.”
