The Pride Network

GOSH Pride Network Logo

The Pride Network is a staff network for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer/questioning and any other community members. We also welcome allies who advocate and amplify the voices within the community.

The Network was formally launched on 12 October 2018 with around 25 staff and volunteers in attendance. For the first time in 2018, GOSH had a presence at Pride in London, with 12 marchers. In June 2024, GOSH had over 50 people in the parade with a big, red, London bus!

Our Pride Network offers support to our members and the wider organisation in the form of:

  • Policy advice and development.
  • Visibility that our hospital is LGBTQIA+ friendly, which includes wearing GOSH branded rainbow badges and lanyards.
  • Training and education.
  • Linking with other local and national LGBTQIA+ staff networks.
  • Working with Stonewall, this year achieving a Silver Award for LGBTQIA+ inclusive employers.
  • Social events for staff to share experience and support.
