Clinics provided by the Inherited Cardiovascular Diseases Unit
The Inherited Cardiovascular Diseases service currently provides three weekly cardiomyopathy clinics, an inherited arrhythmia clinic and an inherited aortopathy clinic.
There are additional specialist clinics dedicated to ion channel disease and for families affected by sudden arrhythmic death syndrome (SADS).
The integrated service is run by a multidisciplinary team, including paediatric cardiologists with expertise in ICCs, paediatric cardiac specialist nurses, clinical psychologists, paediatric clinical physiologists and admin support staff.
