What is the Thames PAG?
The Thames PAG is a clinical network of specialist and non-specialist consultant anaesthetists who have a responsibility for providing comprehensive anaesthesia services for children in the Thames region.
What are the aims of Thames PAG?
To provide a forum for discussion and the development of clinical guidelines.
To provide a source of information for use in clinical practice, teaching and training.
To promote the highest standards of peri-operative care for children.
How does the Thames PAG achieve its aims?
The Thames PAG is made up of a number of members who are all consultant anaesthetists in NHS hospitals in the Thames area.
Meetings are held twice a year at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, for discussion of current topics, dissemination of national guidelines and to formulate regional suggested guidance.
